Will using a non OEM inkjet or toner cartridge affect my printers warranty?

Major printer manufacturers sell printers at or below cost. They make their profits from selling the cartridges. Formerly, once you bought your expensive new printer you had no choice but to buy one of their cartridges after yours ran dry. By using compatibles you are cutting into their primary source of profit. Because of this, they will threaten to void your warranty if you use compatible cartridges. They are simply trying to protect their own interests anyway they can. It is however strictly ILLEGAL for them to do so. They CANNOT VOID YOUR WARRANTY simply for using compatible cartridges. There is no reason that you should not use compatible cartridges. They work and will save YOU money. We've sold thousands of printer ink and toner cartridges and laser toners and never had an incident where a customer's warranty was "voided" from using our products.

Do the products come with a guarantee?

They sure do! A 100% GUARANTEE! Customer satisfaction is our top priority. We guarantee our compatible products to perform to at least the same standards as the Original product. All of our products come with a 60-Day manufacturer guarantee. In the unlikely event you experience any problems with any of our products please follow instructions listed under listed under How Can I Return An Item?

Will the print life be as long as that of the OEM'S?

Yes, in some cases the print life of the inkjet or toner cartridge can be in excess of that of the OEM's

Will I Get the Same Number of Printed Pages from a Compatible Inkjet or Toner Cartridge as an Original Cartridge?

You will get at least the same number of printed pages from compatible Inkjet and Toner cartridges as you will get from an OEM cartridges. Customers are reporting many, many more pages of print per cartridge over their OEM printer cartridges.

I have not received a tax invoice yet, whats going on?

1. If an incorrect or older, non current email address has been submitted, then naturally the receiver will not receive any emails.

2. With the increase in spam, many people now utilise a filter to avoid junk mail. Often if the mail address from where emails have been sent have not been allowed, or automatically blocked, or not on the receivers white list, then such emails may never be seen by the recipient. To ensure emails from CH 4 Africa which include order confirmations, are duly seen and read, please ensure your spam filter is configured to allow addresses ending with inkjetwholesale.com.au. The use by date on cartridges I just received show they are out of date, what’s going on here?

Often the dates are configured to suit other international markets and hence can be somewhat confusing to read. Some cartridges have the dates read with the year first and then the month eg 201008 is mistaken for 20.10.08 but actually it should be read as the year first, then the month, so with this example, the year is 2010 and month is 08 August. There is never a day date, just year and month.

I want to speak to someone, how do I do this?

CH 4 Africa is not setup to receive or make phone calls, you can however contact us directly via our contact form by clicking HERE.

In providing phone support, the overheads involved are simply prohibitive and ultimately would mean higher prices for the end consumer.

I want to return some unused goods, how do I do this and what is the restock fee?

In order to returned unused items, claims must be within 30 days of the original invoice date and all such items must be in a resaleable condition. Such items also attract a restocking fee of 15% of the value of the goods. The only exceptions to this are when its been made clear that such items were not those ordered and were incorrectly sent by us. If you wish to return any items to us that qualify as being returnable, login with your email and password and on the My Cart page you will find a section in Blue bar menu called "Returns". Click on the returns button and follow the prompts and conditions from there. Please complete and submit to enable claim to be processed.

How long before I get a credit on items returned?

In line with our conditions of sale, please allow up to 21 business days to process your return from the time it reaches our Returns Department.

What is the shelf life of an inkjet cartridge?

All our inkjet cartridges have a minimum shelf life of 12 months when the vacuum bag has remained intact. All cartridges are dispatched using a stock rotation system ensuring that your cartridge reaches you almost as soon as it has been manufactured.

I do not seem to be getting as many prints from my inkjet cartridges as the brochure suggests!

Most manufactures quote a page yield based on printing at 360 dpi and printing at 5% coverage (an A4 sheet full of text) if you print any graphics or print at a higher dpi then this will be reduced.

How easy are they to install?

Typically buying a compatible cartridge saves you about 50-75% over the cost of a new OEM cartridge. This usually amounts to R200-R450 every time you use our product. Check out the savings for your printer. Make sure to explore different quantities to find the price break that suits you best. Notice the unit costs decreasing on quantity orders!

How can you sell them so cheap?

Our cartridges come straight from the Manufacturer - therefore - NO MIDDLE MAN to raise the price!!

I have received the printer cartridges, but my printer model is not listed on the outside of the cartridge box, what’s going on here? ...looks like you've sent me the wrong ones. I don't want to open them up to find they are the wrong ones and jeopardize returning them for replacement, refund or credit.

Manufacturers will make different printer models well after the manufacture of the cartridge itself. So as a consequence, often the model of your printer will not be listed on the outside of the cartridge box.

To be sure you have the right cartridges, its best to focus on exactly the model code of the cartridge rather than the printers listed on the outside of the box. If unsure of what you have and what you need, just jump online at CH 4 Africa by clicking HERE and then look for the SEARCH > > > BY PRINTER MODEL search bar towards top left of page and then type in your model of your printer and press GO.

The results should show your printer and underneath a list of all printer cartridge models and other consumables suitable for your printer. Now just check the model name of the cartridge you have, with the model names of the cartridges shown in the list on line. If they are the same, then you can be sure you have the right cartridges. If however this is not the case, then please Login online with your registered email and password by clicking HERE and then click on Messages and then create a NEW MESSAGE and bring to our attention so such can be remedied.

I have received the printer cartridges, but after removing them from the box, I have noticed that they look a little different to the ones I removed, ...looks like you've sent me the wrong ones, whats going on guys?

If the cartridges you have removed from your printer were original brand type and the ones you have purchased are a generic type, there will be some subtle design differences between the cartridges. Such differences are necessary so that copyright is respected and not infringed by the manufacturer. You can be confident though that such differences should have no impact on the use and functionality of the cartridge. If you do see a difference, firstly check the model code label that is attached to the printer cartridge itself and ensure that such is correct and is the same as the one removed.

If the labels are wildly unmatched, and the differences by observation are vastly different in size and shape, then its likely a mistake has been made either when order was placed or at picking and dispatch. If its clear that the cartridges fit this criteria, please Login online with your registered email and password by clicking HERE and then click on Messages and then create a NEW MESSAGE and bring to our attention so such can be remedied.

I ordered Canon compatible PGI-5 and CLI-8 cartridges, but when I opened the packaged, they were marked as being for the BCI-3/5/6/8 series.

These are the correct cartridges for the PGI-5 and CLI-8 cartridge printers. They are labelled like this because they suit a variety of different printers.

I ordered Brother compatible LC-57 cartridges, but when I opened the packaged, they were marked as being LC-51.

These are the correct cartridges for the LC-57 cartridge printers. They are labelled like this because these model names are what they are called in Europe and America. Other than the name they are identical and compatible to the LC-57.

I ordered Brother compatible LC-37 cartridges, but when I opened the packaged, they were marked as being LC-51.

These are the correct cartridges for the LC-37 cartridge printers. They are labelled like this because these model names are what they are called in Europe and America. Other than the name they are identical and compatible to the LC-37.

I received the wrong goods, how can I get this sorted?

Just fill out contact form with your order details and our staff will direct from there

I accidentally ordered the wrong goods, how can I cancel this order and get the right ones?

Login online with your registered email and password and then click on "returns" in the dark blue menu bar. Click on this and then complete and submit. Our returns department will then process the claim. If you need the correct cartridges immediately, we'd advise placing a new order. Then once claim has been completed and goods received back to our warehouse, a credit will be applied to your account which will automatically off-set any future purchases

I ordered HP 901XL generic cartridges, you know, the large volume versions? .. but when I opened my order, the cartridges indicate they are the standard HP 901 generic ones, what going on?

That’s right, the main difference between the XL and non-XL versions is indeed the amount of ink they hold. But this is only true for the genuine HP cartridges, not our remanufactured generic ones. Because they are remanufactured, empties need to be collected and because the XL and non-XL cartridges are physically the same size, both are used in remanufacturing. But both are refilled to maximum capacity. So the standard 901 remanufactured generic has the same amount of ink of its XL cousin.

What are the delivery charges?

For most generic bulk buy inkjet printer cartridge combos and most generic, compatible and remanufactured laser toner cartridges the shipping is usually FREE! When ordering more than one item, if one item has the FREE shipping and the other does not, then FREE shipping applies to the whole order. We do not charge handling or packaging fees.

For all other orders, shipping is based on the S.A Post Office rates and/or warehouse courier transport rates.

The shipping and handling charge is based upon the weight and size of order and is calculated at checkout.

You have advertised Free Delivery, but when I go to checkout, the delivery charge is there, what’s going on?

Our Free delivery advertising refers to our TOP selected ink and toner products. If you added a cartridge that is not one of these, a delivery charge will be incurred.
